Over 70 years ago in 1947, in an empty warehouse, on a dirt road, two brothers, Mike and Ralph Suozzo established Central Islip Plumbing Supply. They were soon joined by their brother, Moe, and their father Jim. For the first 39 years, only family members worked at the store except for one good man, Bob, who kept his relationship with the family and the business for the rest of his life. Until recently, over half our crew grew up on the same street together in Central Islip.

Ralph’s son Jim, and current owner, began working at the plumbing supply when he was 8 years old. He assumed ownership in 1984. His father worked by his side for another year before retiring.

The core of the business is still family, with the addition of trusted friends. Our long term success is grounded in two things: #1 Dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
